The severe flood has damaged almost everything and the ‘team rescue’ is working restlessly. The death toll has reached 48, as of today. Reports say that till Sunday, about 5.82 lakh people were evacuated. Out of which, 3.27 lakh people were shifted to 1168 relief camps. Adding to the misery, about 2694 villages have been greatly affected due to the heavy floods. Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa remarked this as “worst calamity in 45 years”. Also, he has announced RS. 5 lakh as relief fund to those who lost houses.
In the midst of the severe calamity, a huge crocodile somehow made its way to the top of a roof’s house which was almost submerged in water. The video of the crocodile has become viral on social media. In the video, the 10-feet crocodile can be seen resting on the roof with its mouth open while other people in the background taking a video of it.
