1. Follow your passion
He is person who loves racing. From bike racing, Ajith moved to car racing. He made his international racing debut in 2003 in the Formula BMW Asia Championship. In 2010, he took part in the FIA Formula 2 Championship and went on to become the third Indian in F2 along with Armaan Ebrahim and Parthiva Sureshwaran. This was not a small achievement considering he was a film star and had come back to racing professionally after a six-year break. At the time, Ajith said, “I hope my participation along with the other two Indians, Ebrahim and Sureshwaran will create the right amount of interest in the sport in India.” The star has taken a break from racing since but he can still give youngsters a run for their money!
2. Respect Women
Stories abound, from directors to spot boys and starlets, on how well Ajith treats everyone he interacts with. Here’s what Trisha, his co-star in Yennai Arindhaal said: “Can’t stop talking if you ask me to say a few words about Ajith. He is someone who treats everyone on the sets, including a light boy or tea vendor, equally. I still wonder how he does that! Soon after he reaches the sets, Ajith looks if there is anyone in need of help and soon goes in that direction to do his bit. Most importantly, He knows how to respect women.”

He said, “Very often most of our actors are threatened by few personalities in film industry to get connected with political issues. Now and then, lots of protests are held by the members in union. I request everyone to let the actors get on with their profession and save them for the best.”

Ajith later started a non-profit organisation (NGO) called “Mohini-Mani Foundation”, which is named after his parents. He wanted to promote self-hygiene and civic consciousness and to help ease the problems of urban sprawl.
9. Dropped Out? Still, you have life
Not many knew that Ajith Kumar is a school dropout. He dropped out of Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School in 1986 before even completing his higher secondary.

10. Self Made – Be a king maker
The actor comes from a very non-filmy background, having revealed in many interviews that he was called ‘the dunce’ of the family. His brothers are in white collar jobs – one’s a stockbroker while the other is an IIT graduate. Ajith was the black sheep of the family, but eventually made his way to the top.
