In professional boxing, Indian boxer Vijender Singh has conceded his 11th consecutive victory. Vijender, a 33 years old man from Haryana participated in the Boxing competition held in America for the first time. He faced the local star Mike Synder in the fight. The competition lasted 4 rounds and was held at New York’s Prudential Centre.
Vijender technically knocked out the American player’s attack and recorded the 11th consecutive victory. The triumph moment was at the second minute of the fourth round. That’s when Vijender came up with a flurry of straight punches and cornered Snider. This prompted the referee to end the bout in favour of India. It is to be noted that this was his eighth knockout win in all. Vijender Singh has also posted a video of the proud moment for India on Twitter.
गान अर्पित, प्राण अर्पित,
रक्त का कण-कण समर्पित।
चाहता हूँ देश की धरती, तुझे कुछ और भी दूँ।
Thanking everyone back home in India & my fans here in USA for supporting me 🙏
