Yes, you read that right. On Tuesday, The Mali Women’s team created a record which they wouldn’t be proud of. The entire team got out for just six runs. Batting first against Rwanda Women, in the Kwibuka World T20 Tournament, Mali Women managed to score just six runs. In that six runs, five of them were extras with Two byes and two Leg-byes and a wide. The 22-year-old opener Mariam Samake top-scored with one run.

For Rwanda, Josaine took three wickets and two other bowlers managed to grab two wickets each. In return, Rwanda chased down the target in four deliveries. This is the lowest score in the cricket, men or women in T20Is beating China’s score of 14 runs while chasing UAE’s target of 202 earlier this year. The Kwibuka tournament is currently played in Rwanda and a total of four teams- Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Mali-lock horns with each other. The top two teams finishing at the top of the table will fight it out in the final.
