A flock of birds hit the plane and the plane’s two engines failed to operate! At an intense situation like this, a pilot rescued lives of 226 passengers in Russia with his dexterous plan. Ural Airlines’ A-321 flight departed for Crimea yesterday from the Zhukovski airport in the Russian capital of Moscow. The flight carried 226 passengers. After a few minutes of take-off, the flock of birds attacked the plane’s engines. Due to this, the two engines became completely inoperative. A shocked pilot was seeking a place to land the plane immediately. At that instant, he spotted a cornfield which was 5 km away from the airport. To land the plane safely, you need a somewhat equal terrain. Thus, the pilot chose the cornfield and landed the flight.
Moreover, there was a risk that the aircraft would burn due to the fuel inside, in case of any minimal mistake while landing. Thus as a precautionary step, the pilot emptied the entire fuel before landing. Due to the shock, while landing, 55 passengers were injured and were given medical help. About 23 people including 5 children were taken to the hospital. Thus due to the timely action of the pilot and with the help of flight attendants, the passengers were rescued without any life loss. Thus it has been recommended to reward the pilots and airline employees with the country’s highest award.
