Chennai Super Kings who lost to Mumbai Indians in the first qualifier will take on Delhi Capitals for a place in the Final.
Chennai Super Kings, despite Thala Dhoni’s magnificent knock, is yet to accelerate when it comes to the batting. The batting order has been inconsistent and has underperformed throughout the tournament but the experience will come in handy for Chennai and we shouldn’t be surprised if someone from the top-order plays good innings today.
Coming to Delhi Capitals, the young lads have done extremely well so far in the tournament, and they only will get better with time but captaining the team for the team, will Shreyas Iyer be able to absorb all the pressure?
Who will be the key?
For Chennai Super Kings, apart from Dhoni, the spinners have been their main performers throughout the tournament. In the last game against Delhi, we saw some quick stumpings from Dhoni off Spinners. This is something the Delhi will be aware of and will try to play accordingly.
Coming to Delhi Capitals, Rishabh Pant plays a vital role and he must try to play through and finish the game for his side instead of a quick knock. It will be interesting to see how he plays Imran Tahir as the latter will try to deceive Pant.
