Dhanush vs Sivakarthikeyan vs Vijay Sethupathi For Christmas Weekend

The Big December 21st Clash is here. It is Dhanush vs Sivakarthikeyan vs Vijay Sethupathi. All three films are releasing on the same day. It will be interesting to see which film emerges as a winner at the box office. First on the list is Seethakathi which releases on December 20th. After the hugely successful Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kanum the duo of Vijay Sethupathi and Balaji Tharaneetharan are getting together for Vijay Sethupathi’s 25th film. Makkal Selvan takes up a tough role to tackle for his 25th film. He has already played an old man in Orange Mittai this is even better as he plays an aged artist who is seeking to move away from the limelight around him.

Then there is Maari 2 which is the sequel to the highly successful Maari. The huge difference is there is no Anirudh as YSR takes over the music director duties. Rowdy Baby is already a hit as Yuvan hits the right notes. This film has Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas playing the villain a role which was played Vijay Yesudas in the first part. Premam fame Sai Pallavi replaces Kajal Aggarwal. The movie also has Varalakshmi Sarathkumar. It will be interesting to see what is in store for Part 2.

And the last but not the least is Kanaa which is Sivakarthikeyan’s own production. The movie has several things going for it. There is Aishwarya Rajesh as the underdog. Sivakarthikeyan makes a guest appearance and it is a story about the bonding between the father and daughter. More importantly, it is about Cricket our favourite game. Cricket mixed with women empowerment is a perfect story to tell. It is a story which will easily connect with the audience. We all love to see the underdog win and underdog stories never fail at the box office.
So it’s a big clash with three big stars clashing at the box office. Let’s see who wins this royal battle of stars at the box office.
