Foods that are villains to your diet plan: Stay away from these foods to not to slip away from your goal

After seeing the grown fat – Googling various diet plans – “Results in one week” – A typical person searches for diet procedures way beyond than what is required to slim down. But searching is too much for a task, that people often get tired and forget about the whole plan and munches into his regular junks as usual. However, there are some food items that are great villains and impact your weight to a greater extent.

1. French Fries and Potato Chips

High in Calories! Way very high calories that contribute to more weight gain per serving than any other food. Also, it is easy to eat much of chips/potato fries as they are light in size. So if potatoes are your life, switch to boiled potatoes rather than processed, baked, roasted fries/chips.

2. Sugary Drinks – Fruit Juices

Sweetened beverages are one of the greatest diet cheaters of all the time. The problem is that though the sugary drink contains immense calories, the brain doesn’t register as it as solid food. Thus you can’t feel full after the consumption and you end up consuming additional food. Fruit juice is a disguised lie. Fruit juices are loaded with amounts of sugar. Besides that, fruit juice usually has no fiber and doesn’t require chewing. This means that drinking a glass of orange juice won’t have the same fullness as consuming an orange as a fruit. Stay away from fruit juice and eat whole fruit instead.

3. Candy bars – Ice creams

An average-sized candy bar withholds 200-300 calories. Unfortunately, there are candy bars everywhere in every supermarket wrapped in colorful packets – tempting you to eat. However, fruits or a handful of nuts are always there to help[ you out. They will help you forge the craving for your candy bar. Ice creams are also the fellow companion of candy bars that has the same negative effects. But However, It’s ok to have a small portion of ice cream every now and then.

4.White Bread

White bread contains a lot of sugar that can spike up your blood sugar levels. A study reveals that over 9267 people eat two slices of white bread per day and it was linked to a 40% greater risk of obesity and weight gain. Thus instead of going for white bread, consider other options like cornbread and almond flour bread.

5 Pizza

The whole flatbread filled with loads and loads of yumminess. Yes, it is! And it’s almost not easy to say no to one good Pizza. But the sauce, unhealthy ingredients make it hard for digestion and ends up in adding pounds to the body.

6. Pastries, Cookies and Cakes

The back to back sweet treat! The moments of pleasure on the tongue adds severe effects on health. The transfat, these food items hold are very dangerous. Often, you get hungry after eating pastry, cookies, and cakes. Thus don’t fall in the trap of pastry goods. Reach out for dark chocolate, an optional heaven. ;p

7. Coffee!

Don’t panic coffee lovers! Coffee actually contains several biologically active substances, most importantly caffeine. This will boost your metabolism and increase fat burning. But then why coffee is there in the list? It’s due to the individual’s choice of ingredients like artificial cream and sugar outweigh the positive effects of coffee. If you need to make the utmost use of coffee to burn your fat, go ahead for black coffee!

8. Alcohol

Alcohol adds more calories – about 7 calories/gram. Moderate drinking is fine. Its the Heavy consumption of alcohol that leads to increase weight gain.
