Das came sixth in the Commonwealth Games 400m final in Gold Coast in April since then, she has gone onto a lot of improvement in training. Gaurav failed to progress further as he finished 5th spot in men’s 400m and in men’s long jump final where M Shreeshankar finished 6th with the best jump of 7.75m. Das will join elite club Seema Punia (won bronze in discus in 2002) and Navjeet Kaur (won bronze in discus in 2002). Hope India celebrates this hero’s as celebrate cricket players they deserve a lot of appreciation.
