India win their first ever series in Australia to create history

Winning a series in Australia is always a dream for so many cricket times. Even with the fab 4 of Indian cricket Laxshman, Dravid, Ganguly and Sachin we could only draw a series but Kohli with his aggressive brand of leadership has done the unthinkable. He has won a series in Australia. The Australian fortress has finally been breached. The Aussies are not world beaters like this they used to be especially without Smith and Warner but first wins are always special. For the first time our team is blessed with bowlers who could run through the opposition with Bhumrah leading from the front.

While the whole opposition has been concentrating on Kohli Pujara has made a statement with the bat by getting more than 500 runs. Pujara has silently filled in Dravid’s shoes. He has remained rock solid with 3 centuries. He has blunted the opposition and given a chance for others to shine. Pant hit a century, Jadeja came good. All of this happened becaus e Pujara gave his best for the team. Finally India has found a new player who could be stubborn in defense. He was a thorn in the flesh of the Aussies and laid the platform for an impressive overseas win.

On the bowling front we had Bhmrah as our main man who was relentless and made sure that no Aussie batsman settled down. He took 9 wickets in the 3rd test match to stun the Aussies into submission. Bowlers like Shami and Ishant maintained accurate line and length to chip in with wickets. Kuldeep also became the first spinner since Kumble to take 5 wickets in Australia. Everyone chipped in at some point and it was a sweet team victory. Kohli becomes the first Indian captain to achieve this feat. With this he has grown as a leader and an excellent player.
