Suriya had made a smashing return in a political avatar. His name is Kumaran and he rises to cleanse the system. From the looks of it NGK is unlike any other Selvaraghavan film we have seen before. Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi are the two ladies. While Rakul Preet Singh expresses surprise at his political avatar Sai Pallavi urges him. There’s also a reference of politics being unclean and how Kumaran has the ability to change all that. Is it the rise of the common man to change the system ? We have not seen Suriya as a politician before so the expectations are naturally high.
The role looks very apt and might just bring back the actor in Suriya that we all loved. It feels good to see Selvaraghavan attempts to tell a story which he has never told before. His forte is romance but this looks very different. And it feels good to see the combo that gave us so many hits before. Of course I am talking about Yuvan and Selvaraghavan. The combo is back in NGK and is all set to mesmerize us yet again in NGK. Now the new buzz is that Selvaraghavan is all set to join hands with Jayam Ravi for a new film.
Jayam Ravi initally started out as an actor under his brother Mohan Raja’s direction before making a mark for himself as an earnest actor. Jayam Ravi and Selvaraghavan is a new combo. Selva has the knack of casting fesh faces in unusual stories. 7G with Ravi Krishna, Ayirathil Oruvan with Karthi. Now it’s Jayam Ravi. Nothing much is known as of now but knowing Selva he will get the best out of Jayam Ravi too. Hopefully this will be a genre shift for Jayam Ravi who has been struck in the Thani Oruvan template for a while.
