The festival of Raksha Bandhan holds several special moments. A truly impressive incident has happened in Assam that shows a beautiful bond between brother and sister. A soldier lost his life in a terrorist attack! The neighbours in the village gifted a house to his struggling family. Mohan Singh is a soldier whose native is Indore, Madhya Pradesh. In the year 1992, during a terrorist attack, he died heroically. After his demise, his wife Raju Bai and two children had undergone a lot of financial crisis. There was no shelter for them. They just lived in an old hut. After this, her request to the government has been neglected for nearly three decades.
On knowing this, the neighbourhood fellas, after a long struggle, built a house for their Mohan Singh’s family. They gathered about 11 lakh rupees within 3 months for the house construction. Along with that, they also conducted a house warming ceremony. They cared enough to help out the family which was in a miser. Moreover, the neighbours, during the house warming ceremony, placed their hands on the ground in respect to help Raju Bhai enter the house for the first time. This incident of several brothers joined together to help their suffering sister from another mother, has gained huge respect and appreciations.
