Lucifer is to Mohanlal what Petta was to Superstar Rajinikanth. It was a perfect tribute directed by another versatile actor Prithviraj. The high points of the film was how structured the film was despite being a one man show . The likes of Manju Warrier, Vivek Oberoi and Tovino Thomas also have their moments despite the presence of Mohanlal. Vivek Oberoi plays the badass villain with so much ease. Despite the presence of such an ensemble cast of actors Mohanlal steals all the limelight and makes it his own. The presence of nostalgic mass moments elevated the film to a whole new level.
Manju Warrier makes an impact with a strong female role which makes us root for her. The political sequence involving Tovino Thomas is what we call the Pakka Mass moment. It gives us absolute high. The audience loved the film and it became one of the biggest blockbusters. The sequel is on the way next year and we can’t wait to see another mass entertainment film from the Prithviraj and Mohanlal. The film has great revisit value for fans of the actor and reminds us once again why Mohanlal is a perfect blend of mass entertainment and complete acting.
