We all know that the shooting for Vijay 63 is in full swing. The movie is all set to release for Diwali keeping Vijay’s Diwali record intact. The combo has previously worked in Theri and Mersal. Vijay 63 is their third film together. It is a sports film which is based on football. The movie is inspired by the likes of Lagaan and Chak De India. Nayanthara joins as the heroine along with Vivek, Kathir and Yogi Babu. This is indeed a huge cast comprising of stars and promising actors. There will also be 16 new girls who will play the football team members.
One of biggest plus points of Atlee is his ability to play to Vijay’s strength in every film. In Theri he played a cop after Pokiri. In Mersal he was seen in a triple role. In Thalapathy 63 he plays a football coach. All these are wonderful diversions from the usual Vijay that we see on screen. There’s an attempt to present him differently in each of his films. While we had G.V Prakash as the music director for Theri, Atlee moved onto A.R Rahman after G.V Prakash became a hero in films. A.R Rahman is also composing music for Vijay 63.
Mean while there have been speculations that Atlee might rope in Shah Rukh Khan for a cameo and that cameo might be a negative role for around 15 minutes that will have a great impact on the film. If this does happen it will be Shah Rukh’s fourth collaboration with a Tamil actor following Hey Ram, Asoka, Ra one and now Thalapathy 63. Of all the films mentioned Hey Ram is the only full fledged film of Shah Rukh. All other films had cameos by a South Indian Star. If this does happen it will be a great treat for Vijay fans.
