Shubhangi Swaroop becomes the first woman pilot inducted into the Indian Navy! Proud of you 


 

Women are definitely excelling in all the fields leaving all the men behind. In one such story, Shubhangi Swaroop who became the first woman pilot inducted into the Indian Navy. She will soon be flying Maritime Reconnaissance aircraft. Not just her but Shubhangi Swaroop, cadets Astha Segal, Roopa A and Sakthi Maya S have also created history by becoming the first women officers at the Naval Armament Inspectorate (NAI).

Women have been a part of the Indian Navy’s aviation branch only as air traffic control officers and observers in the aircraft. It’s the first time that a woman will be flying planes for the navy. Shubhangi Swaroop hails from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh and is a daughter of a naval commander. Shubhangi will undergo her training at the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad. Social Media is very proud of the four women who truly showed women power.
