Sivakarthikeyan is a busy star these days. His rise has been truly inspiring for all of us. Except for Seema Raja all his other films have been successful at the box office with impressive numbers. He has turned into a successful producer as well with Kanaa. Kanaa was directed by Sivakarthikeyan’s close friend Arunraja Kamaraj. The sports film had all the ingredients which would easily connect with the audience and give them an emotional high. It had cricket which is very popular among the masses and it also had farming. This ensured that the film struck gold at the Tamil Nadu box office.
Sivakarthikeyan has also teamed up with Mithran Saravanan for his 15th movie and the movie is titled Hero. Hero also stars Action king Arjun who had earlier collaborated with Mithran Saravanan for the fantastic Irumbuthirai. Irumbuthirais was one of the best films of last year. It is interesting that Mithran had chosen Sivakarthikeyan for his next film. The film also stars Kalyani Priyadharsan and Ivana and music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Incidentally Vijay Deverakonda’s new film directed by Anand Annamalai is also titled Hero. It is a bilingual which will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Malavika Mohanan is the heroine.
Now, KJR Studios which is bankrolling SK15 has come out with a letter from TFPC claiming that the to title Hero belongs to their film, while Tribal Arts, associated with Vijay Deverakonda’s movie have also revealed proofs for renewing the title Hero (which they had registered earlier), valid till 14 June. There have been several occasions in the past when two films have had the same title but those have happened on two different timelines. This is the perhaps one of the few occasions when two films having the same title have released at the same time. Now it is to be seen who’s gonna get the title.
