25 years old cuts off his father’s head in a rage to play PUBG in peace. The online game addiction has taken over everyone. And, unfortunately, some become victims to the deadly addiction. In that respect, this incident which took place at Banglore has shown that to what heights, one could go just for a mere online gaming.
Raghuveer Kumbar (25) is a son of Shankrappa Kumbar (65), a retired policeman. Both father and son were often involved in quarrels as Shankrappa used to tell his son Raghuveer not to spend too much time in PUBG. On Sunday night, there was another heated argument between the two. And at one point, Raghuveer chopped off his father’s head and legs, so that he gets to play PUBG in peace. The incident happened around midnight. The police have arrested him and registered a case.
However, this is not the first time, the online game addiction resulting in menace. Recently, on August 27, a 21-year-old man died after falling into a pond, as he was occupied into the game. Also, earlier in August, a law student hung himself to death after he was scolded by his mother for playing PUBG for many hours at a stretch.
