Suriya’s NGK teaser to release on February 14

Suriya joins with Selvaraghavan for the first time. It must be noted that his brother Karthi has already acted in Selvaraghan’s direction in Aiyrathil Oruvan. The film was a milestone in Tamil Cinema. Now that Suriya joins hands we can expect another good outing. It is supposed to be a political film. The film is curiously titled NGK. Spyder fame Rakul Preet Singh plays the female lead and Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the music. This deadly combo will be treat for movie lovers. The film will join the list of political thrillers to be released this year. Selvaraghavan’s direction for a political film already heightens the curiosity factor.

Suriya has completed the dubbing of the film. It must be noted that Suriya has been off the radar since the beginning of last year when Thaana Serndha Kootam released for Pongal. After that we have been eagerly waiting for a Suriya film. It must be noted that NGK was earlier scheduled for a Diwali but the film got delayed leaving Suriya fans disappointed. Finally we have a good news for Valentine’s day for all Suriya fans. The teaser of NGK will release on the same day when brother Karth’s film Dev releases. So it’s a big day for Sivakumar family.

It’s a big day for Selvaraghavan fans too. It’s been a long time since we had a proper film
from Selvaraghavan. He last directed Irandam Ulagam which received mixed response though Anushka’s presence and the music was extremely good in the film. The fans want to see yet another classic Selvaraghavan style film which sets the box office on fire. Hopefully NGK will be that film. The fact that Suriya is on board in a political film will add the hype for the film. Let’s wait and watch what is in store for Suriya and Selvaraghavan fans as the teaser releases on Valentine’s Day.
