My son was arrested 28 years ago and still we haven’t got a proper judgement says Arputhammal.
It is been 28 years since Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination and still a proper judgement has not been given. About seven people were arrested regarding Rajiv Gandhi’s death and Perarivalan is one of the seven people. Arputhammal is Perarivalan’s mother and she says that truth and justice is only for rich people and people who have power on the society. She says that police took her son 28 years ago stating that he will be sent home the next morning. But still her son Perarivalan has not returned home. She further tweeted that the innocent people have to be released and the government and politicians has to stop playing politics over a dead person.
Arputhammal conducted number of strikes demanding the release of the seven people who was arrested under Rajiv Gandhi’s death. But they were not released till date and this hurts her very badly. One day they both will die but time will answer for the injustice against them says Arputhammal who is suffering without her son for nearly twenty eight years.
