Today’s world, for the most part, is shrouded in unconcern. That’s why the stories of two men from India do us proud.
One Indian is Manjunath Ningappa Pujari. He drives an auto for Ola between 6 to 9 pm every day. Post work he provides free rides to anyone in an emergency, even in the dead of night. All you have to do is call. Manjunath also donates part of his earnings to the needy in shelter homes.
The other Indian is Karimul Haque, aged 50, who transports the sick, the injured and the dying to hospitals on his motorbike. He hails from Dhalabari Village in the Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal and is affectionately known as ‘Bike Ambulance Dada’ by his fellow men.
The Awesome Machi team salutes these two heroic men for their nobility and hopes that their example will inspire many more to similar action.
