While many corporate companies have taken the initiative to make our society a better place to live in, one such company, Netmeds, has joined hands in cleaning the beach, with the view of leaving their mark behind and not dirt.
A 100-member team from Netmeds took up an initiative on Gandhi Jayanthi to clean the Elliot’s Beach at Besant Nagar, Chennai, based on their philosophy of cleanliness being the base rock for healthy living. It was their intention to inspire many Indians towards adopting the ‘Clean is Healthy, Clean is Beautiful, Clean India’ premise. They were also supported by young students from various schools and the Love Care Center orphanage in Kancheepuram, both of whom held hands in order to be a part of the Swach Bharat Abhiyan campaign.
The Netmeds CEO, Pradeep Dadha said, “Sanitation is one of the key elements to a healthy and happy life. We hope to set an example for positive habits that lead to the creation of a cleaner and greener India. We are grateful to the honourable Prime Minister for displaying his confidence in Netmeds by making us a part of this important national movement for cleanliness”.
Originating from Chennai, Netmeds Marketplace Pvt. Ltd is India’s biggest online pharmacy. Their focus is to deliver medicines to their customers’ doorstep. Their customers can avail the service 24*7, truly making them the embodiment of their tagline, ‘India Ki Pharmacy’.
In addition to their corporate responsibilities, the Netmeds team is also looking forward towards making a better society with enhanced lifestyles. We appreciate the initiative taken by the Netmeds team towards making our city clean.
